Okay, Dianne; Here is my second try with "George"! I used the soft cloner to bring back some detail, and then used a tiny just water brush a bit to give back some of the watercolor look. I think it is better!!

Inspired by Dianne Swans...
I have taken pictures of my friend Michael's swans at his farm, and painted the best three in three diferent ways. here's one: I used the simple watercolor brush for it and a saturated palette. The others are in my gallery. How'd I do, Dianne?

Smolak Swa 1
I know dianne likes swans, so I painted this one first. I used a saturated palette and a simple water brush for this view of "George" who lives at Smolak Farms in North Andover, MA.

Your swan is beautiful, Diane! I love the colors. your use of watercolor here is inspiring; I think I will go visit my friend Michael at his farm. He has two swans, and I will take some pix and see what I can do with them!
