    In this picture, there are two layers. The bottom is the original picture with the contrast all the way up and brightness twiddled with. The top is the original picture with the texture expressed. You might call this 'part 2' of the lesson begun yesterday ;] Leaving color under texturized layers...

    I really did see this when I looked at the picture. I swear. Even the darkness spiralling up the neck of his guitar. The amount of layers per object range from at least six for the background to a straight shot one for the guitar. I erased around those gears meticulously, and around the speaker/halo...
