&lt;p&gt;This is a young man that goes to our church he also played in the MSU band his mother once told me that the&amp;nbsp;trombone cost $1000 seemed kind of steep to me anyway I named the piece Studion Muscian in honor of one of my favorite Barry Manilow songs that seemed to fit the&amp;nbsp;mood. It touched me to do because my father was a photographer and when I was small we lived in a white house very similar to one in the painting. The problem was I painted it 3 times and couldn&amp;#39;t decide which one i liked best or which one did it the most justice. I hope that I have done it proud. It was done with detailed watercolor and sargent brush to give it the impressionistic look.
