These are some flowers blooming around the edge of the pond behind our house. I used detailed watercolor intense contrast and pen and ink.

Am I right in thinking these are some kind of iris?   Anyway they are gorgeous, the pen treatment helps to emphasize the vertical lines of the leaves.
