I returned to the UK after spending six months courtesy of the RAF on Ascension Island, this is a small volcanic island in the south atlantic devoid of the colours that we are normally used to. I returned home in July 86 nature was in full swing, I felt so overwhelmed by the colours that I saw especially the landscape with all the different greens in it, it was from that moment I knew I had to paint. So thats how it all started for me and now with digital art there are unlimited possibilities at least digital canvas, paper and paints are free.
