Line correction?

Hey! I am having a heck of a time finding a decent program to draw in, considering I am primarily a traditional artist, and am currently still saving up for a cintiq.

That being said, I am working on a silly little tablet, and I have no IDEA how you guys get your lines so straight.

Is there ANY form of line correction, stabilization, or smoothing option in Essentials 5? Or do I have to dish out the 500 bucks on my end for something like that?

How do you guys get such clean strokes? Is there some kind of secret- kjdhhjdfg.

  • There's a straight line option in Essentials for actual lines.

Actual smoothing, like artificial hand holding, Painter supports this with several brushes, but Essentials does not afaik, you can't access the panel for smoothing afaik.

Painter also support a pen tool, which will allow you to make nice bezier curves.
