    Foggy Night

Well, lets try this again. This is one of the images that I tried to post before, just in case it gets double posted, all will know what happened. They other night we had a real thick coastal fog roll in, I had to go to town to shoot a few shots at our train station.  Can't remember which style was used. I'll be printing the non painted version as it is real neat. You can see it on my web site as well as some others.

    Have a great day!

well this is getting spookier by the minute, I saw this image on the forum days ago, and meant to say how much it looked like a film set at the time, but then couldn't find it.

Very nice, I like the foggy effects and the way the light shows up.  It gives a lonely and erie feel.

To finish a work? To finish a picture? What nonsense! To finish it means to be through with it, to kill it, to rid it of its soul, to give it its final blow the coup de grace for the painter as well as for the picture.

Thamks, this was a great night to be out shooting, My wife did not want me to go out as someone mught jump me from the bushes, kinda spooky but in one hour, I got more workable shots than I've gotten in two months.

Tolouse, the shots you saw were the images when I added them to my Gallery, I also posted them in one post to the sharing post. They are in the gallery now but the other post never showed up, thats why I posted again but in seperate posts. All is well that ends well!

Does anyone know if one can include a clickable link to another URL here within the posts?

Spooky in a beautiful sense Orv. I love this. Foggy II is great as well, but between them this is my favorite.

Orv, there is a link (the chain link) in the toolbar of the message area where you are posting from.. It is directly to the right of the "bullet" buttton. Or from the right, the 5th button in. I usually type in the name of the place I am referencing then highlight it. Copy the shortcut from the URL and click on the link button. Then paste it into the dialogue. Example:

    Osalisburyphoto

Also, you can choose whether to open the link in a new window or not.

This is another beauty - I love the painting effects mixed with the lighting - I think you can sell both of these!!  Hope they are both framed somewhere!

Orv, I like the simplicity of the scene.  If you were lucky enough to get a lone person sitting on the bench it would have been even better.  Nice choice of painting and color.

Thanks, this was very simply done with auto paint, with some detail restored on the bench. The colors were from the mixture of diferent type of lights used in the area, it just worked out well. Yes, I wish there was someone sitting on the bench or walking thru, but it was taken rather late at night, around 10pm.  I'll try to include a small copy of the original in this post for comparison.

    Have a great day!

Great Painting and great photo.  These sort of shots are not easy to come by.  Right place at the right time.

I agree also that this is my favourite of the two you have posted.  I loved the other one but when I saw this I like this more.
