    Hi there,Ireally like this especially done in these grey tones.My interest in this painting goes beyond any previous postings,as my Father served on board H M S EXETER,one of the british ships involved in the sinking of the graf spey,My fathers ship also suffered great damage in the battle but luckily he and the majority of the crew survived,Regards Wardy

    this is not your usual happy type of picture Roxart, which is not surprising after your sad loss, but time heals, this is a great picture though and done very well, and whilst you continue to create pictures it can help to take your mind off your sorrow. The colour will come back into your world soon I hope.

    The first husband of my mother was a sailor of the Graf Spee,  After the war his was sent as "prisoner of war " to Germany ( 1946 february), She did not see him nevermore. Many years later I was born, this photo is of my mother's collection.
