I photographed this view many moons ago in Switzerland - saturated watercolour sketch, intense detailed watercolour - still not entirely happy with my "cleanin up" but I have to find a way to do it properly in watercolours. So, if anybody knows a trick or two, please let me know.

regarding clean up, if you are referring to the crescent shaped marking just beyond the reeds for instance, you can use your selection tool to surround just that mark, set your brush to random strokes using a size less than half the size of the brush you have just used, meaning size according to the top toolbar not the random strokes panel, and just give a quick burst, very often that is all that is needed, really you only need worry about patches which mar the picture - as that one does sticking out like a sore thumb. If you feather the selection using this techique you can do virtually invisible repairs to an image.

I don't think you can clean up watercolour sketch in the same way that you can detailed watercolour.....  I've tried it and it doesn't seem to work for me.    It is a very nice image though and I like the colours.....
