This one was done using the impressionist cloner brush at random strokes, then a touch of texture using image luminance to give the effect of real paint, and a simulation of an old landscape style.

Thanks Kirk, I was pleased with the effect, but it does not do justice to the actuality, the view from up there is awesome, a full unobstructed 180degree horizon, I must treat myself to a panoramic camera one day. I have made myself a promise to go back to the same spot when there is virgin snow, now that would be a sight for sore eyes. there was very high wind for this picture so there was a lot of airborne dust in the atmosphere, which lost a lot of detail in the distance, but at least there was some dust at high altitude, hence the sunset.

Tolouse I just love the colours in this one, they are just fabulous. Those grasses on a windy day would be beautiful.  Not to mention the stunning view.

Wonderful Toulouse, there's something dreamlike about those colours.

Thanks Ric - welcome back to where you belong, our forum wasn't the same without you - now let's see some pics from your holiday, once you are back to normality.
