    Butterfly on Clover

Butterfly on CloverTime for bed. Another flower? Maybe. A flying flower.

Several layers with different presets including impressionist, van gogh and illustration. Various opacity settings and the final touch; I hand painted the background with a water brush (I think) to seperate it from the flower texture. G'nite.

    Hi Kirk and Welcome.

I really like this one.  It has a genuine light feel to it.  I like your treatment of the greenery too.  To me it seems to help bring into focus the fagile nature of the butterfly.

    Well done.

very successful Kirk, I love the way you have lost the background especially.

Thanks all. It is a great feeling when the images come together satisfyingly.
