    Gallery

I would like to have my own gallery here as well, but the links in the Help section seemingly aren't active & won't let me "contact the administrators". Please help. Thank you.

Welcome! I will get things set-up for you and will send you a private message with instructions on how to access it.

Jennifer, I, too, am having the same problem as Kirk.  The "Contact the Administrators" link is not active and I'd like to set up a new gallery.

    Thanks.

    Re: Gallery

Sorry to jump on the same wagon, but I asked when I first joined the group about a gallery and haven't heard anything.  I did find the same links as the others and they did not work.  Is there some prerequuisite?  Thanks for your help.

To finish a work? To finish a picture? What nonsense! To finish it means to be through with it, to kill it, to rid it of its soul, to give it its final blow the coup de grace for the painter as well as for the picture.

    Re: Gallery

Same here.  The site should be automated for a gallery.  I use Picasa web albums which allow 1 GB of free storage and are easy to make using Picasa.  The reason I want one here is because this is a like minded group using Painter Essentials.  Jennifer, why does it take so long to get the gallery?

    Re: Gallery

Apologies, artisan9 and asimalady if this has taken too long.

artisan9, I sent you a private message via the Essentials Cafe this past Wednesday, asking for clarification as to what you would like the gallery to be named, once I have that info I will set it up for you. Would you like your gallery to be named after your username "artisan9"?

Apologies, asimalady I don't appear to have received your request for a gallery. Would you like your gallery to be named after your username "asimalady"? Similar to artisan9, once I have that info I can create the gallery for you.

Because of the technology we are using "behind" Essentials Cafe, we are not able to allow people to create galleries for themselves. Thank you for your patience, and again, as soon as I have the info from you I will get the galleries created. I will send you a private message from within Essentials Cafe with instructions on how to access the gallery once I have it created.

I am also looking into how to fix the links in the FAQ.

    Sincerely,
    Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,  I sent a reply to your email last week.  I will post the reply here since you may not have received the email.  Please use my Artisan9 user name for the gallery.

    Thanks,

    Ron

    Re: Gallery

I see the Control panel but when trying to manage the photos, I get this notice:

Sorry, but there are no photo galleries available for you to manage.

I have signed out and logged in again with the same results.

Thanks Wendy, but I was just checking e-mail before leaving for the conference for the day, so I just set up the gallery for asimalady :-)

Asimalady, I just sent you a private message via Essentials Cafe explaining to you how to access you gallery. Please drop me a line if you have any questions or problems.

    Thanks
    Jennifer
