I tried something different for me here. As I can't draw, I'm not especially happy with the man. I thought I'd put it on the forum anyway, as it expresses how I sometimes felt about jobs I had, and I thought it might ring a bell with other people.

I think you have done a great job here, the drawing doesn't matter, as a graphic it gets the idea across. I see a Jack Tar doing a hornpipe on stage in a Gilbert & Sullivan production of Pirates of Penzance, but I have been known to overdo the coffee sometimes.

Thank you for your comments, Toulouse and Wardy. I think it's partly my lack of drawing ability that made it a bit comical and the man a bit cartoonish, but I'm glad you liked it anyway. I was never involved in amateur dramatics, Wardy, but I do like a bit of drama, action, colour, in pictures. When Toulouse once said he admired water colours, but just couldn't do them himself, I knew what he meant, I love beautiful delicate paintings, but somehow always end up wanting to do something else myself.

Thank you Ric for your kind remarks. I guess most people feel like this sometimes!
