Greetings Factory members.
I would appreciate you pointing us your favorite online learning resources for Painter 12 and Painter 11. With the likes of Jeremy Sutton creating Paintboxtv.com and Jason Maranto creating his VTC series, it would suggest a growing appetite for more feature rich training content (screen cams, videos etc).
Please pile on this thread and share your favorite links. We will endeavor to better promote them to up and coming users and community members across the world.
Andy, will this include online classes such as those at Digital Art Academy and LVSonline?

Excellent and free forum for Painter users run by Corel Painter Master Karen Bonaker.
Two classes for Painter 12 on this page and three classes for Painter 11. One of the Painter 12 classes is a Part 1 class for newbies to Painter, the other class is for those who have previously been using Painter X and/or Painter 11.
Please note that classes at LVS are very reasonable, $30 per class for new students, $24 per class for returning students. LVS has been offering online classes since 1999!
...and don't forget the tutorials at the Corel site. :D
There are 44 excellent Painter tutorials for several different versions of Painter located at Bob Nolin's blog, Digital Image Magazine. Although most of these are for previous versions of Painter, nevertheless, most of them will work with Painter 11 and Painter 12.

p.s. I write about a lot of different topics about Painter in my blog at my web site.
For instance, I just published a Q and A with photographer Marilyn Peck about her experiences selling her painted landscapes from her photos.
I also publish Painter tips and techniques like this blog with three secrets for painting landscapes with Painter.
One of the things I do most often is encourage people to paint. This blog, for instance, is about how confidence, not talent, is the key to creativity.
I also write about my own experiences with Painter, including this blog about writing the first Painter manual when the software debuted 20 years ago.
These are just some examples--more tips, case histories and encouragement can be found by clicking the links at my blogs!

Thanks, Elaina, for posting a link to PixelAlley (no space between Pixel and [initial Caps A] Alley). Again, it's PixelAlley.
This was my first website, established in October, 1999 for the purpose of sharing tutorials and other information with fellow Painter users. Though it's been in need of updating for a while, it's still being used by Painter users and I plan to give it a good overhaul and update in the near future, to add Painter 12 tutorials as needed and other information previously posted in some now fairly sleepy forums and hidden in their archives.
Please add this link to the list as it's been posted in the list of previous Painter version resources for years.
I'm glad to see you updating this resource list, Andy.
hey Andy... thanks :)
some great tutorials this site have..
