this is just professional according to my eye.....i am so wanting to paint like this....the gentle colors the simple details like the smoke coming out of the chimney.... the blance of the trees. the hillside...defined by the touches of ambers ... the textures....especially in the sky... just love everything about it ...you get such a good feeling looking...

a friend sent me a powerpoint presentation of Antarctica, and I liked the colours, it inspired me to create a simple artwork using a very limited palette - using sargent brush, and a quick sketch of the endeavour which I fractaliased

fine costumes - it is hard to do wrong at these events - they are so colourful

Thanks Bobbi - I do like to sit in the sun, but for landscape blue skies and fluffy clouds are ok for travel brochures, but give me a menacing stormy sky anyday - my personal preferences for skies are sunrise, sunset, and armageddon, and if there is some thunder and lightning it is a bonus, I also love the deep saturated colours after rain, and reflections...

you had the vision to turn the mundane into a nice artwork - that is what art is all about
